BP2 Message Hop
BP2Message Hop
The Web 2.0 tool I decided to investigate and work with is called Message Hop. In a nutshell this application/tool allows someone to import a photograph and text into a message that Message Hop creates and gives you a link.
When you e-mail a message to someone, you can send a digital photo along with text. When they get the e-mail, they will have a link, which will open up the digital card. When you are blogging, all you have to do is post the link when you are creating a message and anyone reading the blog can simply click on the name of the blog and they will be taken to the message. Go ahead, try it.
You have the ability to change the background color as well as the color of the text.
I realize that this is not a tool that is going to change the world, but it may make it nicer for someone. A teacher can use it to send good news to a parent. A corporate trainer can use it to commend someone who has done a great job in training. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Opening up an e-mail and telling someone’s mom that their son is on the honor roll and then having a picture of the student receiving recognition can be a powerful motivator. The parent then can forward that message to anyone he or she wants.
With the many advantages of digital photography, everyone has a camera. Most cell phones come with them and a photo opportunity is only a heartbeat away. This application is extremely easy to use and will help brighten the days of many people.
